Seattle Charter Bus Group Travel Info

Dubbed "The Emerald City", Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. Boasting pristine views of the Cascade Mountains to the East and the Olympic Mountains to the West, Seattle also host a variety of amazing events. Known for its world-famous coffee, Seattle has more to offer a yearning spirit than these golden roasts.

In Seattle you will find a variety to entertain you and your family both indoors and outside. Whatever your preference is, or what the weather may be (it doesn't always rain, honestly!) Seattle will always have something extraordinary to offer you.

Attractions

Seattle is the home of the Space Needle, built for the 1962 World's Fair. A 41-second elevator ride takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck, with a spectacular view of the city. Enjoy a meal at SkyCity, the restaurant at the top revolving 360 degrees while you dine.

Among the many exciting things to experience is Seattle's Pike Place Market. Opened in 1907 the granddaddy of the farmer's market has many surprises lurking in every corner including street performers, musicians, restaurants, multitudes of shops, and of course the famous "flying fish".

The city offers great venues to learn about and appreciate nature. Stroll beneath the glass dome at the Seattle Aquarium and see life underwater or enjoy more than 1,000 animals of 300 different species at the Woodland Park Zoo. At the zoo you can even feed the animals at scheduled times and meet the people who take care of them.

The Seattle Waterfront offers beautiful scenery and sights, a bustling collection of attractions, restaurants and shopping, as well as starting points for ferries, cruise ships and boats. Take pleasure in a ferry ride to Tillicum Village, an island where you'll feast on salmon cooked in the authentic Native American way. A great way to see the whole city is via The Ducks, a 90-minute adventure tour that will have you "quacking up" through the streets and lakes of Seattle.

For a more nostalgic and educational afternoon, the city offers you Bill Speidel's Underground Tour. This guided tour takes visitors through the hidden subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and storefronts of old downtown Seattle telling the stories of the frontier people who lived and worked there.

Not your grandmother's library! The Seattle Public Library is a proud glass and steel structure designed by world-renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, an absolute delight to visit!

Restaurants

Home of Starbucks and Tully's showcasing some of the world's best coffee, Seattle has more to offer one's particular palate. Canlis Restaurant, is a high-end restaurant in North Seattle with a wonderful view overlooking Lake Union and Queen Ann Hill combined with live piano music. Crab Pot Restaurant & Bar, on the Waterfront, is unique and well-known for Seafest.

McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, downtown, pride themselves in serving the best seafood and steak in town. The above are just a few of the finest choices of restaurants Seattle has to offer. Don't forget the International district to enjoy a wide variety of Asian, Mexican, and Vegetarian and other restaurants that will surely satisfy your appetite.
